-The Oval Portrait is a narrated short film that portrays a story originally written by Edgar Allen Poe. The narrative follows a dramatic painter who is entranced by his creations. His inevitable infatuation with painting a perfect portrait of his wife eventually places a deadly stress upon her. An environment illustrating the time and creative demise was essential to the story.
